YOUR INFORMATION

Website privacy notice.

How information from the Repair True website enquiry form is used. Payment information is covered separately in our Payment Privacy Notice.

Contact and responsibility

Repair True handles website enquiries. Email info@repairtrue.info or write to Repair True, 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, to ask about your information or the legal identity of the trader responsible for it. The contracting trader's full identity must be supplied in your written offer before payment.

Information you provide

The enquiry form asks for your name, email, optional phone number, service postcode, enquiry topic, optional plan and message. Include only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send bank account details, card numbers, passwords or sensitive personal information.

Purpose and storage

We use these details to respond to your request, assess service availability and take steps you request before a contract, or to help administer an existing service. Submissions are stored as private records on this WordPress website and are accessible only to site administrators. A notification is attempted to the business email address. Email delivery is not guaranteed; the website record is retained if delivery fails.

The form uses a nonce and a temporary hashed-IP counter to limit misuse. Hosting providers may process technical logs for delivery and security. Protecting the website and handling enquiries are legitimate business interests. An enquiry is not a marketing subscription, and this form does not add you to a marketing list.

Providers and sharing

Our hosting and email providers and authorised support personnel may process information needed to operate these services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to handle a claim. Ask us about the providers and safeguards applying to your particular records.

Retention and requests

We retain information for as long as necessary to answer the enquiry, administer any resulting service and meet applicable legal or claim-related needs. The form does not automatically delete submissions. Contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where these rights apply. Some records may have to be retained. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Payments and cookies

Read our Payment Privacy Notice for Stripe Checkout and payment records, and our Cookie information for website technology. Other services linked from the website have their own privacy notices.
